Western & Northern Border:
Open 24 hours Monday – Sunday
Cargo Facility:
Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
San Pedro & Punta Gorda Point of Entry:
Monday to Sunday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Is travel insurance required?
Travel insurance is optional at this time.
Are there any Covid-19 travel requirements in place?
There are currently no requirements for vaccination or testing to enter or exit through the land borders or sea ports.
Can Belizeans travel?
Yes, Belizeans can travel across the borders.
Is daily parking available at the borders?
Yes, daily parking is available at the following rates:
- Daily Parking Main Area $3.00 per day
- Daily Parking Enclosed Area $10.00 per day
Is overnight parking available for non-cargo at the borders?
Yes, overnight parking is available at the borders.
- Overnight parking Main Area $10.00
- Overnight Parking Enclosed Area $20.00 per night
Is public transportation available at the borders?
Yes, taxis are available at the borders.

What are the fees for crossing the border?
There are fees for departure from Belize through the land borders and sea ports. The fees are payable by all persons who are not citizens or permanent residents of Belize.

Are there facilities available for storing cargo?
Yes, there are overnight storage facilities available.
Can I purchase auto insurance at the border?
Insurance is available for purchase at both the northern & western borders.
